Role Overview

As an SDR at Countable Labs, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying early-stage sales opportunities with key stakeholders in biotech and life sciences. This role provides an excellent platform for contributing to scientific innovation while developing a strong sales career.

What You’ll Do

  • Introduce Countable PCR’s differentiated value: single-molecule quantification, simplified workflows, and robust multiplexing
  • Qualify leads (e.g., R&D scientists, assay developers, diagnostics companies) through structured discovery conversations
  • Schedule and coordinate demos or technical meetings for Account Executives
  • Update and manage lead/interaction data in CRM (Salesforce, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams on messaging, content, and event outreach
  • Stay informed about trends in PCR, rare event detection, and molecular diagnostics

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years in B2B SDR, BDR, or sales roles—experience in biotech, life sciences, diagnostics, or scientific instrumentation preferred
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technically oriented audiences
  • Self-starter mindset, highly organized, and target-driven
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and sales platforms (Salesforce etc)
  • Scientific literacy—capable of quickly understanding new assays, gene targets, and PCR innovations
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or related fields is a plus

Compensation

We’re excited to offer a competitive compensation package for this full-time role. The US base salary range is $80,000 to $120,000 - an estimate that may vary based on our company’s compensation practices. In addition to your base salary, you’ll also be eligible for our annual bonus or commission program, as well as comprehensive health and retirement benefits to keep you supported every step of the way. At Countable Labs, we’re not just a team—we’re a community committed to pushing the boundaries of science and making precision medicine a reality for everyone.
