The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with diesel engines, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.Requirements

What You’ll Do


  • Manage day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and timely repairs.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of diesel technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Schedule and prioritize work orders to meet customer expectations and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by communicating clearly and effectively about diagnostics, estimates, repairs, and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor parts inventory and work with the parts department to ensure timely procurement.
  • Review and analyze service reports, KPIs, and technician productivity to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support business goals.

What you Bring:


  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Experience with service software and reporting tools a plus
