We are seeking an Operations Manager at Prairie Shores, located in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago, IL. This property consists of 1675 apartments. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provides timely and professional responses to tenant issues and inquiries. Administers resident survey to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Monitors the collection of rents and executes appropriate financial or legal remedies.
- Oversees all leasing and renewal activities to ensure the property is meeting leasing and occupancy goals.
- Represents building and ownership in dealing with residents, vendors, city, unions and associations.
- Directly responsible for building safety and 24-hour emergency management.
- Managing and maintaining the Opinion & Kingsley Surveys.
- Execute and attach renewal leases & update renewal tracker.
- Entering NTV’s & discussing early terminations.
- Input parking charges.
- Resolve Resident Relations for customer service issues.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in leasing or property management preferred, in addition to strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Yardi software programs preferred.
