About the Role:


Reporting to the GM of the Enterprise business unit, the VP of Business Development for MediaMath will be responsible for driving new business against new offerings and through partnerships. The role will be a sales one, with explicit revenue goals, but will require an adaptive and creative approach to accomplishing those goals, as the person will be selling new Infillion offerings without well-defined market positioning, client value proposition, sales process, or support needs. The role is as an individual contributor, but will require deep coordination with internal existing sales, client success, and product teams. 

What you’ll be doing:


  • Lead sales of Infillion offerings in the following areas:
  • Customized, enterprise-class versions of MediaMath to agencies
  • PMPs to agencies and brands
  • Barter relationships with barter agencies and speciality firms
  • Other new Infillion offerings as identified and created
  • Establish deep relationships with direct clients, agencies and C-level marketers for the largest advertisers in region
  • Develop sales and marketing strategies for offerings, including, ideal client profiles, Infillion offering, Infillion value proposition, and market positioning
  • Develop sales approach and materials to support client acquisition
  • Extensively partner with other Infillion leaders from sales, marketing, and product in the definition and execution of responsibilities
  • Represent Infillion as thought leader at relevant regional industry events.
  • Deliver against set KPIs and collaborate with sales operations and account strategy teams in setting individual goals, forecasting revenue regional revenue and budgeting for future needs of the business.
  • Evangelize the Infillion value proposition and solution-sell Infillion offerings by honing in on client specific needs, challenges and trends.
  • Ensure detailed and accurate qualification of clients while selling / up-selling to long term uncapped budgets.
  • Work with a broad range of internal teams (Account Strategy, Marketing, Legal, Integration and Traffic teams) to support the sales efforts.
  • Spearhead the development of and dialogue around complex, custom solutions for clients with assistance from Ops, Product and other teams.
  • Identify and define new opportunities for Infillion offerings in market.

What you have:


  • 10+ years proven solution sales experience in programmatic media
  • 5+ years in business development
  • Extensive C-level client direct partnership experience
  • Experience developing and launching new programmatic media offerings
  • Willingness to roll your sleeves up as a sales leader
  • Interest in identifying, mapping and modeling new revenue streams for Infillion – including growth across non-traditional categories
  • Passion for interactive media and performance-based advertising
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred

  • Base Salary of $175,000 - $185,000 plus commission with first year on target earnings of $350,000 - $370,000
