Manager, Software Development at Vena Solutions

This role will be based in our Indore office 5 days a week.

As a Software Development Manager, you will be part of a leadership team responsible for coaching and mentoring talented software developers working in an agile SaaS environment. You will directly impact and influence product delivery, team growth and employee engagement.Our developer-focused team culture encourages our engineers to be self motivated and self directed. Lead, coach, and grow a team of developers through 1:1s, feedback, and career planning
Own team health, engagement, and performance, ensuring a culture of trust and accountability
Partner with Product and Architecture to shape roadmaps and ensure technical alignment
Guide the team through delivery of complex projects, balancing efficiency and quality
Support engineers in making sound technical decisions, without being the primary problem-solver
Drive hiring, onboarding, and succession planning for your team
Collaborate with peers and cross-functional leaders to improve how we build and deliver software
Champion inclusion, psychological safety, and continuous improvement

Does this sound like you?:

2+ years managing developers as direct reports, including 1:1s, performance reviews, and career growth planning
10 - 15 years of experience JavaScript/TypeScript or Java preferred
Proven ability to build and sustain high-trust, high-performing teams
Experience coaching engineers through making architectural and delivery decisions
Track record of delivering complex SaaS projects in an agile environment
Skilled at partnering with Product and Architecture to shape team and departmental roadmaps
Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing engineers at multiple levels
Strong communicator with excellent problem solving and organizational skills
Able to hold teams accountable while fostering psychological safety
Technical background in software development
Passionate about inclusion, mentorship, and continuous improvement
