The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Solutions Engineer (Analytics) to serve as a client-facing expert in digital analytics, with a strong focus on Google Analytics 4 (GA4), sales engineering, and third-party data integrations. This role bridges the gap between technical implementation and client strategy, ensuring seamless data flow, actionable insights, and high-impact analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Strategy
- Act as the primary analytics point of contact for clients, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand client goals, data infrastructure, and reporting requirements.
- Present insights, dashboards, and technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
GA4 Implementation & Analysis
- Design, implement, and audit GA4 tracking strategies including event tagging, custom dimensions, and user properties.
- Configure GA4 properties, data streams, and integrations with Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Analyze GA4 data to uncover trends, user behavior, and performance metrics that drive business decisions.
Sales Support
- Collaborate with sales and account teams to scope analytics solutions and demonstrate technical feasibility.
- Create proof-of-concept dashboards, data flows, and integration mockups for prospective clients.
- Support RFP responses and technical documentation for analytics solutions.
- Configure and maintain secure SFTP connections for automated data transfers and ingestion pipelines.
- Implement conversion pixels and remarketing pixels via Google Tag Manager and test the pixels to ensure they are functioning properly for various clients.
- Support the rest of the team by pulling occasional reports.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or another related field.
- A minimum of two years of experience in digital marketing or advertising, preferably with a focus on paid search and paid social.
- Certifications in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Desire to be the tech-oriented face of the company to clients with a wide range of technical expertise.
- Proven ability to understand customer needs, build ongoing relationships, and drive revenue.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams across the company.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical and non-technical processes and tactics to internal team members.
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple data sources and conduct analysis for multiple campaigns.
- Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to deliver quick turnarounds on projects.
Compensation
Base salary plus annual bonus and benefits.
