This is how we guide brands onward.Position SummaryThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing the successful delivery of client work at Grizzly. The primary function of the role is to drive quality client outcomes in alignment with established scopes, timelines, and budgets for multiple, concurrent projects, while incorporating Grizzly standards and processes. You will collaborate closely with project team members and the leadership team to ensure excellence in delivery and execution.Key Responsibilities
Project Planning
- Create detailed project plans and task breakdowns with input from team members and leadership
- Develop budgets, work and resourcing plans, and realistic timetables
- Establish clear goals and provide accountability through reporting, analytics, and optimized strategies
- Define project scopes and write proposals; partner with Producers to create specifications and schedules
Project Management
- Serve as day-to-day manager for client projects, ensuring successful execution from start to finish
- Own task assignments and proactively remove blockers
- Track project budgets and scopes, flagging risks and managing mitigation plans
- Deliver fixed price, retainer, and other projects within timeline and budget constraints
- Ensure rigorous QA and end-to-end quality control across all deliverables
- Maintain resource forecasts in agency tools and adjust planning as needed
Client Engagement
- Participate in client meetings and written updates; manage scope and expectations
- Understand client business goals and provide insights to help meet those objectives
- Act as a consistent point of contact and trusted partner to clients
- Deliver verbal and written feedback to project team members; escalate misalignments when needed
- Facilitate discovery sessions and translate requirements into executable project plans
- Support account teams in developing scopes of work following discovery phases
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in project management and/or account management for integrated brand and digital communications
- Proven success managing client work in a creative or agency environment
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentFamiliarity with all functional agency departments and processes
- Understanding of industries and markets with experience tailoring solutions
- Experience with delivering full-scope web projects for enterprise clients preferred
- Consultative, client-first approach and a collaborative team mindset
Work Requirements
- Must be located within a one-hour drive of San Diego, CA
- Flexibility with schedule to meet client commitments
- Domestic and international travel may be required
