The Details:
- Location: Chicago, IL area
- Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm CST
- Pay: $22/h
What You'll Be Doing:
As a key member of our tech team, you’ll:
- Be the go-to expert for troubleshooting networks, email systems, and software platforms.
- Support a variety of systems including Windows, iOS devices, macOS, and Google Console.
- Install and maintain desktops, servers, printers, and interactive teaching tools.
- Repair and replace hardware, manage software updates, and maintain licensing compliance.
- Keep our tech running smoothly - from networking gear to phone systems.
- Maintain detailed inventory and ensure the security of all IT assets.
- Collaborate with staff and clients to solve problems and keep things moving.
What You Bring
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology (or related field).
- Must have reliable transportation as you will be traveling from site to site.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with hardware/software support.
- Strong communication skills and a knack for translating tech-speak into human-speak.
- Experience with Active Directory, Open Directory, Workgroup Manager, and VMware is a big plus.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and juggle multiple tasks with ease.
- Familiarity with interactive classroom tech (projectors, smart boards, etc.).
- A passion for learning and staying ahead of the tech curve.
