What You’ll Do
As a Junior Field Operations Product Specialist, you'll be a hands-on support resource within our growing Field Operations team. You'll help ensure smooth installations, assist service providers in the field, and provide real-time support and troubleshooting. While learning from experienced peers, you'll contribute to Tonal’s customer-first mission by making every interaction in the field count.This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who’s excited to grow their technical skills, learn operational processes, and be part of an innovative company shaping the future of fitness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installations and repairs for VIP and escalated customer cases alongside senior team members or experienced installers
- Provide real-time support via the Technician Support Hotline for routine questions and minor troubleshooting
- Conduct installation and repair field audits in assigned geography to ensure adherence to installation and repair SOPs
- Serve as a friendly, knowledgeable Tonal ambassador during in-home visits, walking members through basic trainer features and answer any questions to help the member have a best-in-class experience Support/P0
- Conduct regular reviews with appropriate operations management and external logistics partners to share intelligence and insights gathered from the field
- Assist in pilot testing new tools, materials, and techniques, and document findings
- Track and report field issues or service feedback to help improve installation processes
- Help maintain updated field documentation and resources, including training materials and SOPs
- Collaborate with senior field team members, Customer Care, and Last Mile Logistics to ensure smooth handoffs and communication
- Consider costs and budget for each activity and provide input for cost-saving measures
- Uphold high standards for safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
Who You Are
- 2–3 years of experience in field operations, installation, customer support, or similar hands-on roles
- Eager to learn new technologies, tools, and installation methods
- Strong communicator with a service-oriented mindset and positive attitude
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile apps, web tools, and digital documentation
- Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to pitch in wherever needed
- Open to frequent travel (up to 80%) across U.S. regions, including occasional evenings or weekends
- Must be 21+ with a valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable working in customers’ homes in a respectful and professional manner
- Interest in fitness, health, or wellness industries
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience in construction, consumer electronics, home fitness, or home appliance installation
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Suite, or similar tools
- Basic understanding of construction safety or building processes
