To qualify for the position, candidates must meet or exceed the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)
- One to two (1-2) years of previous Accounting experience (Preferred)
- One to two (1-2) years of previous SAP software experience (Preferred)
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Korean/English (Required).
SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Jr.Accountant is to lead month-end and year-end closing process including intercompany transactions, closing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, property tax and etc. Jr.Accountant will also ensure compliance with federal, state and location legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing process including intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, closing journal entries.
- Reports monthly/quarterly/yearly close duties and reports to Manager and Head Quarters
- Provides status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation
- Manages Cash flow of the company by monthly cash flow projection.
- Supporting administration and general affairs
- Take ownership on ad-hoc projects as requested by management.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking of English and Korean.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of food, supplement, pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with MS Office Suite.
- Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
- Able to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
- Takes initiative and seeks additional training or direction as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)
- Minimum of one to two years’ experience in accounting function. (Preferred)
- Minimum of one year of SAP experience. (Preferred) Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Korean/English (Required).
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing work environment. Constant physical activities are required for this position. Able to tolerate working environment with inside hot and cold temperatures. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Activities include: ability to reach overhead, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously during shift; intense walking is involved. Dexterity for manipulating work materials; repetitive motion; proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
