Duties and Responsibilities


  • Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Create a sales strategy that aligns with company objectives.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify high quality leads and qualify new business opportunities
  • Support proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation.
  •  Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Understand client business goals, organizational dynamics, and market positioning.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally to advocate for client needs.
  • Performance Tracking & Reviews
  • Track key performance metrics such as revenue, churn, usage, and engagement.
  • Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients.
  • Maintain accurate client data and activity logs in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on account health and pipeline.
  • Internal Collaboration
  • Coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Development teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of technical assistance, onboarding, and ongoing support to clients.
  • Contribute feedback to help shape product direction and roadmap.
  • Participate in internal account review meetings and customer support planning.
  •  Account Ownership & Growth
  • Manage a defined portfolio of strategic and mid-tier client accounts.
  • Develop account plans that align with client goals and revenue targets.
  • Ensure client renewal and contract retention rates remain above target thresholds.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements


 Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B software sales or account management.
  • Proven record of successfully managing and growing customer accounts.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and customer success frameworks is preferred.

 Knowledge and Skills Required


  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with executive-level clients.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and reporting tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Understanding of the software industry, including trends and competitive landscape.
