Position Overview
We are seeking a VP of Delivery to lead our managed services and product engineering delivery functions. This executive-level role is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of complex, cross-functional technology projects and programs. You’ll coordinate delivery across multiple geographies, maintain exceptional client relationships, and drive measurable ROI.This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on leader with strong technical understanding, commercial acumen, and a proven record of delivering results in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all managed services and product engineering projects across global teams.
- Serve as the executive point of contact for clients, ensuring timelines, expectations, and KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Lead the development of customized solution proposals and statements of work (SOWs) that align with SmarTek21’s offerings.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), presenting performance metrics and strategic insights to clients and stakeholders.
- Drive delivery excellence and process maturity by implementing best practices and scalable frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong client relationship
- Partner with Capability, Finance, HR, Sales, and Executive teams to ensure aligned execution and resource management.
- Provide clear insights into project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Track and report on delivery performance, project health, and client satisfaction.
- Foster strong client relationships by understanding client needs, anticipating future demand, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
- Coordinate complex delivery operations across multiple countries and time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in technology delivery leadership roles, including managed services and/or product engineering.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems and agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with cloud services, AI/ML solutions, or platform engineering.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, especially with QBRs and delivering measurable ROI.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing remote and distributed delivery teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term, trust-based client relationships.
- Demonstrated experience engaging directly with clients to gather requirements, propose solutions, and drive consensus.
- Ability to navigate and align cross-functional departments toward common goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading delivery in a technology consulting or digital transformation environment.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
