Rad Power Bikes, North America’s largest electric bike brand, is on a mission to get people onto bikes that are built for everything and priced for everyone.We are looking for RADICAL people to join our global teams: Results-Driven, Approachable, Diverse, Innovative, Customer Driven, Accountable, and always Learning.As our Retail, Service, & Assembly Supervisor, your responsibility will be to oversee our Santa Barbara store, including our awesome team of Retail Specialists, Ebike Mechanics, and Ebike Assemblers.

Our Retail store is an incredibly dynamic environment that is constantly evolving as we grow. We are seeking a tenacious, goal-oriented, and organized team leader who is not afraid to jump in and get their hands dirty as needed. Come help Rad Power Bikes get people riding!Weekend availability will be required as our schedule is subject to change. The salary for this role is $66,560 per Year; however, we consider several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.Requirements

Why You’re Rad (about you): 


  • 2+ years of experience organizing a retail showroom to optimize product display and customer experience
  • 2+ years of experience with bikes in a formal setting 
  • Prior experience supervising a team 
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization 
  • Ability to juggle many priorities at once and lend a hand wherever needed 
  • Relationship-focused approach to customer service 
  • Passion for bikes and an interest in working with e-bike consumers
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with top-level department heads
  • Strong judge of character, and a high standard for professionalism

Additional Requirements: 


  • Impeccable written & oral communication skills
  • Ability to ascend / descend ladders
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours / day
  • Ability to lift, push/pull, leverage and carry 65+ pounds without assistance
  • Proficient manual dexterity required while using a variety of hand tools and other equipment
  • Confident explaining complex topics and policies to a variety of people
  • Eager to learn the back-of-house processes, and can assimilate & retain information quickly. 
  • Comfortable handling multiple priorities throughout the day in a dynamic/active environment

You get bonus points for: 


  • Working knowledge of bikes and how they function (particularly ebikes) & up-to-date understanding of local ebike regulations 
  • Experience working with Shopify, Google Workspace, Gladly and Beeline
  • Experience training and developing production staff regarding policies, procedures, and related job responsibilities

Had you been with us last month, the top things you would have impacted are: 


  • Arranged the schedule on a bi-weekly basis for all team members and managed a team of Retail Specialists, Ebike Mechanics, and Ebike Assemblers to ensure that all customer needs are met
  • Supported accurate inventory control through management of our shipping team and coordination with our Operations Department
  • Managed opening & closing daily procedures 
  • Maintained a fun, safe, and professional environment for teaching current and potential customers about ebikes
  • Worked cross-functionally with other departments on various wide-reaching internal projects
  • Additional duties as required
