About the Role


We are looking for a tech-savvy, systems-minded CRM / Sales / Automation Specialist to help us design and optimize our global agent partnership funnel. This person will be responsible for improving our current CRM setup with HubSpot, designing automations that support every stage of the agent lifecycle - from lead capture and qualification to onboarding, engagement, and re-engagement - and using AI to personalize communication and optimize conversion.The ideal candidate combines deep technical knowledge of CRM and automation tools with a strategic mindset and a bias for action.Reporting to the Head of Business Development for the Duolingo English Test,

this is a remote-friendly contract position that will require approximately 20 hours per week.


You will…


  • Manage and optimize our agent CRM setup (HubSpot)
  • Build automated workflows for outreach, onboarding, and follow-ups
  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Instantly.ai, Apollo.io, Bardeen, Clay) to automate and personalize agent engagement
  • Design dashboards and reporting pipelines to monitor funnel performance and key KPIs
  • Work closely with BD and marketing teams to identify bottlenecks and opportunities across the agent journey

You have…


  • 10+ years of expertise in CRM management, sales ops, or automation-focused roles
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and workflow automation platforms (Zapier, Make, etc.)
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools for lead scoring, email generation, and personalization
  • A process-driven, detail-oriented approach to operations and data management
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working independently in a fast-paced, remote setting
