How You Contribute to Pinnacle Transplant’s Success
The Production Scheduler is responsible for coordinatingand expediting the flow of work and materials within or between PTT departments according to the production schedule for work from Day 1 up through Week 13. Duties include scheduling, reviewing and distributing production tasks, coordinating with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates, and compiling reports on progress work and production concerns.Work hours: Wednesday - Sunday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Must be able to train Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm for 2-4 weeks)Work environment: Office

What You Will Do
- Assist Master Production Scheduler by participating in the scheduling of the next business day and up to 13 weeks based on Planning Team’s monthly donor plan, processing events and packaging number goals.
- Generate individual work orders for daily/weekly schedule tasks by utilizing operation planning tools and Master Production Scheduler direction to ensure the company hits its production goals on time.
- Print associated processing documents for each scheduled event based on SOPM.
- Review processing documentation for current day events for processing completeness per schedule and adjust plan accordingly based on daily/weekly completeness.
- Review processing records for GDP/SOPM accuracy and report on the production status and any production issues to management.
- Obtain daily processing and packaging numbers by running/compiling reports.
- Participate in obtaining the initial manufacturing yields and final manufacturing yields and assist with investigating any discrepancies to determine root cause (i.e. reject, rework, used for testing, etc.) by partnering with operation management/staff. Report any production issues to management.
- Assist with obtaining final manufacturing yields and compare to planning assumption rules and report any discrepancies to Master Production Scheduler to evaluate a recovery plan, if applicable.
- Compile weekly QHR report and partner with Master Production Scheduler and Quality Representative to evaluate remanufacturing needs to meet on time delivery.
What Qualifications You Will Bring
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience as a Production Planner or Scheduler in cGMP environment.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong skills within Microsoft Excel
- Strong mathematical and statistics skills
- Ability to make independent decisions regarding planning and scheduling activities.

Who You Will Partner With
- Daily written and verbal communication with Production Leaders (Planner, Managers, etc.) to ensure duties are understood and prioritized correctly to maximize production efficiency and throughput.
- Regular communication with Quality Control, Warehouse/Shipping/Receiving, Customer Service, and other associates involved in the production process to ensure the timely completion of all tasks in order to minimize delays.
Where You Will Work
- Full Time position (40 hours or more) based in Arizona. Normal hours include planning time and evenings and weekends may be required to perform tasks outlined in the job description.
- Duties are such that there may be contact with human tissue and bone which may be considered infectious; use of PPE is required in all work areas.
- Position may enter a clean room environment where protective clothing such as hoods, face masks, gloves, boots, and coveralls are required.
