Our motto is “Resolution through engineering”. Job DescriptionSeeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the financial operations of the organization. This position will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, implementing internal controls, and supporting strategic financial decisions. This role plays a critical part in driving the financial health and regulatory compliance of the company. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual). This position “owns” the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements.
- Support the FP&A Manager with the annual budgeting process.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and working capital requirements.
- Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Serve as the point of contact with the external CPA vendor
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support business decisions.
- Evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and tools for efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA a plus but not required).
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with some experience or desire to be in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability/desire to lead teams, manage deadlines, and work collaboratively across departments.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in a professional services or consulting firm would be a plus (not required)
- Familiarity with NetSuite ERP, or similar platforms
