If you like a fast-paced environment, a team structure that provides support, training, and development, then apply today!The Regional Fleet Manager will report to the Director of Fleet and work closely with business unit management and operations team for our Florida and Southeast regions.Responsibilities:

  • Manage, implement, and improve processes to ensure the business unit has a viable and well-maintained fleet, develop fleet replacement cycles, capital requirements, and priorities of asset re-deployment.
  • Implement and manage maintenance and repair plan for regional fleet and verify that all such procedures are performed on a timely basis and at the proper interval.
  • Assist in training of individuals in load securement, vehicle safety procedures, defensive driving, pre- and post-checks, vehicle maintenance, and post-accident procedures.
  • Work with Fleet team and vendors to establish standard vehicle specifications per divisional recommendations, as well as leveraging corporate buying power for high-expense items and equipment.
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and operation of Samsara and GPS devices, including training and hardware support.
  • Oversee, monitor and track fuel card distribution as well as usage.
  • Interact with drivers/Operators daily, answering any questions and ensuring drivers/Operators can safely operate and understand the operational procedures and are following applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Provide oversight and assistance as it relates to process development/improvement, PM inspections and compliance, purchasing, tire programs, fleet repairs, maintenance diagnostics, and DOT compliance.
  • Track, maintain, and store Inspection results (government and internal)
  • Track, maintain and install Bestpass Toll System
  • Maintain master vehicle list in B2W software, including oversight of licenses, tags, and registrations.
  • Monitor fleet trends and make recommendations/decisions based on fleet data analysis.
  • Track and maintain all equipment rentals division wide, implement tracking and rental protocols that everyone will follow.
  • Develop relationships and accounts with Rental Companies, Equipment Suppliers and Repair Facilities within your assigned region.
  • Control and monitor the stocking of spare equipment, repair parts and repair consumables
  • Work closely with other business units and assist as needed
  • Other fleet related duties as assigned.

Experience/Education:

  • 3+ years of fleet related experience.
  • College degree preferred in logistics, transportation, business administration or automotive technology.
  • CAFM certification a plus.
  • B2W experience a plus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, exempt position.
