Job Description
As the Regional Sales Manager for the DACH region, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Your primary objective will be to enhance sell-out and expand market share, in close partnership with the Managing Director Central. You will be responsible for building solid, direct relationships with key retailers in the region, while maintaining a data-driven approach to operations focused on revenue, profitability, and operational excellence.This role requires close coordination with the Amazon team, as the platform is a strategic pillar in the DACH region.
In addition, you will be expected to coach and guide the Key Account Manager as well as the regional Marketing team, ensuring alignment in execution and strategic planning across all go-to-market functions.SteelSeries is convinced that effective execution can lead to quick growth, as shown by our accomplishments across a variety of countries.Are you ready to lead us on this journey?
Core Responsibilities
- Create and execute regional sales strategies and account plans that enhance revenue and profitability, emphasizing P&L management.
- Analyze and forecast sales and market growth metrics, ensuring alignment with SteelSeries' business and financial goals.
- Manage key account relationships and execute promotional and marketing initiatives to increase sell-out and regional market share.
- Serve as a mentor and advisor to the Key Account Manager and Marketing team, offering strategic guidance, insights, and practical assistance.
- Manage the region in close collaboration with the Amazon team, ensuring pricing, promotions, and supply planning are fully aligned.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all channel partners, leveraging insights and data to improve sell-through performance.
- Conduct regular training and education sessions for key account staff to reinforce SteelSeries’ product value and brand positioning.
- Work closely with the marketing team to localize global campaigns and gather actionable feedback on competitive dynamics and consumer preferences.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in a comparable role within Consumer Electronics or Gaming.
- Experienced in mentoring colleagues and promoting teamwork among various functions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of P&L management and effective methods for enhancing profitability.
- Knowledge of retail and e-commerce, including experience managing Amazon as a strategic partner.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and comfort working with data and digital tools.
- A demonstrated interest in esports and gaming is highly valued.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
