Are you ready to embrace the future with us?About the RoleJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a KPI Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing drilling and completion operations by leveraging performance data and operational KPIs. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in engineering or geosciences, hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry, and a deep understanding of performance monitoring tools and metrics. You will work closely with our Real-Time Operating Center (RTOC) and field teams to ensure continuous performance improvement and data-driven decision-making aligned with QatarEnergy’s operational standards.Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for drilling and completion operations to ensure alignment with QatarEnergy benchmarks.
  • Develop, manage, and continuously improve performance monitoring dashboards using approved software platforms.
  • Track contractor performance and provide insights through customized reports and visual dashboards tailored to QatarEnergy requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to identify areas for improvement based on KPI trends and real-time rig data.
  • Provide daily support and coverage within the Real-Time Operating Center (RTOC) for at least 8 hours per day, five days a week, or as directed.
  • Respond promptly to operational queries and issues via on-duty mobile phone, ensuring consistent performance oversight.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with field staff, engineers, and leadership.
  • Apply industry best practices and insights from at least five years of oil and gas operational experience, including a minimum of two years in a performance monitoring role.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of Drilling and Completion optimization techniques to drive operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Must have minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Geology, Petroleum or related Science discipline.
  • Minimum five (5) years of Oil and Gas Industry experience and have extensive knowledge in Drilling and Completion Operations, D&C Optimization techniques, etc.
  • Minimum two (2) years of current position as Performance Monitoring Specialist or
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in relevant rig operational KPIs.
  • Mastery of contractor performance KPI tracking and presenting solution/software. Able to create and modify various performance KPI dashboards as per QatarEnergy requirements.
  • Available to work for minimum 8-hour coverage, 5 days per week, or as otherwise directed in QatarEnergy's Real-Time Operating Center (RTOC). Reachable via on duty mobile phone for immediate response and support.
  • Has excellent command of English language in both speaking and writing to communicate with field and office personnel.
