Custom Software Systems Inc. (CSS) is
seeking a highly skilled and innovative Process Consultant to join our forward-thinking team. In this critical role, you will leverage your expertise in Business Process Analysis (BPA) to assess, streamline, and optimize complex workflows, providing actionable insights that drive operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with our clients' internal software development teams, ensuring seamless integration of robotic process automation (RPA) and custom software solutions, while guiding the development of internal BPA and RPA capabilities.

  • Provide services around Business Process Analysis (BPA) which is a systematic approach for understanding, evaluating, and improving business processes.

  • BPA deliverables could include but are not limited to process maps/diagrams, flowcharts, requirements, gap analysis, stakeholder analysis, implementation strategies/approach, ROI and cost/benefit analysis, and others.

  • BPA analysis should also result in a recommendation(s) based on ROI and cost/benefit analysis which could include but is not limited to robotic process automation (RPA), custom software development, reports/dashboard, process improvements, etc.

  • Provide a set of guidelines for determining when to use RPA vs. custom software development.

  • Client has an internal software development team that has experience with full stack development, RPA, and report/dashboard building with Microsoft’s Power BI. BPA performed may result in RPA or custom software development being done by our client’s internal software development team so the vendor BPA team would need to ensure proper turnover of documentation and be available through development process as needed.

  • The client is interested in developing internal BPA skillsets. They may request BPA consulting guidance on internal BPA efforts.

  • RPA efforts must use MSD’s O365 cloud unless otherwise specified and agreed upon with IT.

  • The client is interested in developing internal RPA skillsets on their internal software development team therefore MSD may request RPA consulting guidance on internal RPA efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have experience and resources for developing and deploying Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using Microsoft’s suite of RPA tools.

  • Must have a suite of best practices around securing RPA projects to protect MSD data and users.

  • Must be able to provide services around Business Process Analysis (BPA) which is a systematic approach for understanding, evaluating, and improving business processes.

  • Must use MSD’s O365 cloud unless otherwise specified and agreed upon with MSD IT.

Citizenship

  • US citizen.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
