The Role
We’re looking for a full-cycle recruiter who thrives in early-stage environments and knows how to build and scale recruiting from the ground up. You’ll step into a high-impact role, inheriting a recruiting engine that’s already in motion — and play a key role in driving it forward.You’ll own full-cycle hiring across departments, partnering closely with hiring managers and leadership to drive searches from sourcing to close. You’ll bring a sharp eye for talent, a strong sense of urgency, and a thoughtful approach to process and candidate experience.
You’ll also help shape and evolve our systems (we use Ashby) as we continue to scale.This is a high-ownership role for someone who blends agency rigor with in-house empathy, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to help build the team that's reshaping healthcare.This position is based in our NYC office.
What You’ll Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for roles across engineering, product, operations, go-to-market, and more
- Manage multiple active pipelines at once with speed, precision, and care
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to align on role requirements, candidate profiles, and interview strategy
- Drive strategy and execution across sourcing, candidate experience, and closing
- Improve workflows, interview loops, and scorecards — especially within Ashby (our ATS)
- Act as a thought partner to leadership on headcount planning, hiring priorities, and market insights
- Share hiring metrics regularly and constantly look for ways to improve efficiency and quality
- Stay plugged into market trends and adapt strategies as needed
- Partner with People and Operations on onboarding, internal process, and organizational planning
- Work in-person from our NYC office and collaborate closely with HQ teammates
What We’re Looking For
- 4–6 years of recruiting experience, ideally with time spent in both agency and in-house roles
- Proven success hiring across both technical and non-technical teams at early-stage or fast-growing startups
- Deep familiarity with Ashby — including workflows, templates, automations, and reporting
- Experience building recruiting process from scratch (e.g. scorecards, interview loops, kickoff meetings)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills — with both hiring teams and candidates
- Organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable operating in a zero-to-one setting with limited structure and lots of ownership
- Data-informed mindset and passion for finding exceptional talent
- Resourceful, thoughtful, and driven to do things the right way — while still moving fast
The salary range for this job opportunity is $100,000 to $150,000 per year, which is the amount Angle Health anticipates paying for this position at the time of this job posting. The actual base salary offered may differ and will depend on various factors such as geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as internal equity.
