Description
Captivation Software has an immediate need for a Full-Stack developer with back-end Java 8+ and DevOps skills to support the project effort's. Support will focus on software engineering and DevOps of the National Time Sensitive System (NTSS) tool suite, which delivers critical intelligence around the world at mission speed. The team supporting NTSS works with cutting edge technology to manage high-volume and time-sensitive data throughput in response to Intelligence Community and world-wide partner needs.
Support includes both sustainment of the existing tools and development of new features and functionality based on high-priority mission needs.Telework is not expected for this role. Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 6 weeks). Staff may charge 8 additional hours (4 hours per system with 2 systems covered) for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.
Responsibilities
- Developing distributed software; updating software code and fixing bugs; deploying applications
- Installing and configuring complex software
- Managing network servers and technology tools
- Monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance
- Writing scripts to automate general system operations or DevOps activities
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues and outages.
Requirements
Security Clearance:
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years experience

Benefits
- Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
