About the Role
As an HR Generalist, you'll play a key role in enhancing HR systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting a dynamic and mission-driven team. You'll be hands-on with employee onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS data integrity, and departmental projects—all while championing best practices that promote fairness and organizational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and improve the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and useful reporting.
- Support and streamline onboarding, transitions, and offboarding processes.
- Provide benefits coordination and guidance to staff at all eligibility points.
- Administer and track leave programs in coordination with third-party administrators.
- Communicate HR services and updates across departments in engaging and accessible ways.
- Collaborate on HR process improvement and documentation (e.g., SOPs, workflows).
- Assist with recruitment, wellness, and staff appreciation efforts.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in human resources; HRIS reporting experience is a must.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA).
- HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
