The Director of Product Management defines the product vision, creates the roadmap, and works cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to bring the product to life. This role focuses on enhancing our platforms to meet the evolving needs of government agencies and commercial enterprises, ensuring they can navigate complex regulatory landscapes with efficiency and confidence.

The Director of Product Management is accountable for product success, ensuring that the product solves real problems, fits the market, and supports the company's broader objectives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap Development:Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for our current solutions (Q-Compliance and Q-BA²) and next-generation solution, aligning with market demands, regulatory changes, and customer feedback.
  • Own the Product Lifecycle: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to retirement, ensuring consistent value delivery.
  • Prioritize Features: Use data-driven decision making to prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, customer demand, and strategic alignment.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with engineering, sales, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality product features and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing: Ensure GTM teams are enabled with proper training, collateral, and messaging.
  • Pricing & Packaging: Work on optimizing pricing models and packaging to support growth and revenue goals.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs, ensuring our products remain at the forefront of compliance and security automation.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Stay ahead of evolving regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, CMMC, SOC 2, OMB Mandates, ICS 500-27, etc.) and industry best practices to inform product development and strategic direction.
  • Customer Engagement:Engage with customers to gather insights, validate product concepts, and ensure solutions address real-world challenges.
  • Create Customer-Facing Materials: Collaborate with marketing and sales on product positioning, launch materials, and user documentation.
  • Serve as the Product Evangelist: Clearly communicate product strategy and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Run User Research & Interviews: Regularly engage with users to understand pain points and validate hypotheses.

  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years at the director level or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong domain knowledge in security compliance, GRC tools, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, FedRAMP, DFARS, CMMC).
  • Proven success in defining and executing go-to-market strategies for enterprise software and compliance/security solutions.
  • Experience working with both government and commercial customers, with a clear understanding of their differing compliance requirements and buying behaviors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead product teams in an agile and cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Splunk/Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, security analytics platforms, or real-time data integration tools.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in security, compliance or risk management contexts.
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth technology company.

Salary Range & Benefits The annual base salary range for this full-time position in the United States is $180,000 - 200,000 and is a good faith estimate only. In addition to compensation, Qmulos provides a competitive benefits package; including health insurance coverage (medical, dental, and vision), short-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) retirement benefits, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO), phone allowances, and tuition reimbursement.EOEQmulos is an equal opportunity employer.
