Position Summary:
The Site Supervisor provides daily leadership, supervision, and operational control over all aspects of the cleaning contract at the Comcast Center. This role ensures customer satisfaction through high-quality service, effective resource use, and full compliance with contract requirements. The Site Supervisor is the primary point of contact for the customer and plays a critical role in supervising Custodians and Lead staff, enforcing policies, managing labor relations, and maintaining performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer & Contract Management
- Ensure full compliance with the customer-company contract.
- Identify and exceed customer expectations through daily written and weekly in-person communication.
- Conduct inspections and walk-throughs with clients upon request.
- Address and resolve complaints immediately; maintain a complaint log with weekly reporting.
- Recognize and act on new cleaning opportunities within the account.
Team Supervision & Leadership
- Direct nightly operations and ensure all cleaning duties are completed.
- Supervise and guide Custodians and Leads to meet quality standards.
- Train and re-train staff; enforce uniform and policy compliance.
- Discipline employees in accordance with company and union guidelines.
- Delegate tasks effectively and provide consistent follow-up.
Operational Oversight
- Smart Inspect: schedule, assign, inspect, and verify task completion.
- Maintain accurate supply and equipment inventory; manage uniform stock.
- Organize and monitor completion of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly task lists.
- Respond flexibly to emergencies and special cleaning requests.
- Monitor and adjust staff workload as needed.
Labor Relations & Compliance
- Understand and uphold both the Employee Handbook and Union Agreement.
- Attend union and unemployment hearings when necessary.
- Work directly with union employees and understand labor contract terms.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to resolve unresolved employee matters.
Payroll & Administrative Duties
- Review and submit accurate and timely payroll.
- Track and resolve payroll issues or escalate to appropriate parties.
- Log and document employee complaints and disciplinary actions.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in a leadership role within janitorial or facility operations.
- Proven experience in union environments and labor relations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service orientation.
- Ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in scheduling, time management, inspections, and performance accountability.
- Proficient in basic computer applications for administrative tasks and communication.
