About the Role
We’re seeking a seasoned
CRM and Lifecycle Marketing Contractor
(4-Month Contractor) to lead and evolve our guest retention strategies across owned channels (email, SMS, app, direct mail). In this high-impact short-term role, you’ll drive the optimization of customer engagement, retention performance, supporting strategic initiatives and executing CRM innovation during a key seasonal window.This is a 4-Month Contract position beginning end of July, beginning of August.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement predetermined strategies to increase guest engagement and retention.
- Build and implement CRM campaigns (email, SMS, app) aligned with business goals.
- Align with IT teams to translate marketing needs into requested data outputs.
- Implement strategies to grow owned channel opt in.
- Deliver data-driven insights on campaign performance and customer journey KPIs.
- Launch/refine testing strategies for lifecycle touchpoints and retention tactics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, data, tech, and operations.
- Support referral and app-based retention initiatives in-market.
- Oversee creative execution for messaging – from copy to design alignment.
What Sets You Apart
- 5–7 years of CRM, lifecycle, or retention marketing experience, ideally in retail or franchise environments.
- Proven success with marketing automation platforms and segmentation strategies.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Experience in fast-paced environments with quick turnaround needs.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- Extensive hands-on experience working within ESPs, preferably Klaviyo.
- Ability to roll up sleeves and execute tactics.
- Previous franchise experience.
- Experience leading short-term transformations or interim marketing leadership roles.
