BPS Bioscience is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Technician I to join our Operations Team. This role involves a high degree of repetitive tasks with a focus on delivering high quality products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have an excellent flexibility and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced operations environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipments for the day/week according to company standards.
- Pack orders accurately and efficiently to ensure product integrity.
- Confirm orders by taking pictures and adding information into software system Labguru.
- Receive, handle and sign for incoming packages
- Verify the accuracy of kit components before final packing and report any discrepancies.
- Accurately follow work instructions to document the work performed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area.
- Must have excellent communication skills to effectively define status of product or process either orally or with the use of written status reports.
- Assist in inventory counts, tracking and report low-stock items.
- Must follow all BPS Bioscience housekeeping policies and safety procedures.
- Operate basic packaging equipment, such as label printers and tape dispensers
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory environment is required.
- Meticulous and exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with repetitive tasks and shifting priorities.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse or cold storage environment (if applicable).
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
