We are seeking a motivated Computer System Analyst I to analyze, develop, and support computer systems with diverse capabilities, including engineering, business, and records management functions. This role involves planning, evaluating, and implementing automated information systems while ensuring optimal performance, usability, and security within a DoD contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop computer systems for engineering, business, and records management applications.
- Develop comprehensive plans for automated information systems from project inception to completion.
- Assess and optimize user interfaces, hardware and software performance tuning, and system integration.
- Monitor workload and computer usage trends, ensuring efficient system functionality.
- Maintain interfaces with external systems, analyzing system downtimes and performance metrics.
- Evaluate proposed system modifications, upgrades, and new Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions.
- Define system requirements and program specifications to streamline development workflows.
- Coordinate closely with programmers for proper implementation of system requirements and program specifications.
- Collaborate with functional users to develop alternative system solutions for evolving requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance; TS preferred
Education:High School Diploma or GED Certificate OR2 years of relevant experience.Experience:Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or GED Certificate OR2 years of relevant experience.Strong understanding of computer systems architecture, database management, and system analysis methodologies.Ability to analyze complex problems, define solutions, and translate requirements into technical specifications.
