For more information about Collegis Education, please visit www.CollegisEducation.com.Our Student Success Coaches are responsible for working on behalf of Collegis’ partner schools to support their enrolled student population by monitoring academic progress and supporting the achievement of educational goals through proactive communication. The Student Success Coach cultivates and maintains strong student relationships while guiding students down their individual academic paths towards graduation at Collegis’ partner schools.

Primary Responsibilities, Essential Functions and Requirements:


  • Partner with enrolled students to develop individualized academic goals and plans.    
  • Conduct and document required advising sessions to identify motivations and potential challenges of student readiness.
  • Ability to identify and address retention risks through communication and problem solving. 
  • Build strong relationships and mentor students from the first week of enrollment through to graduation serving as a guide for enrolled students as they navigate the college experience. 
  • Meet all assigned metrics and expectations of student retention.
  • Responsible for managing and updating computerized student management database, registration information, and follow-up documentation
  • Demonstrate a high level of partner knowledge of the college’s academic programs, requirements, and services.
  • Maintain knowledge of partner school’s student community and student service organizations as necessary
  • Provide guidance and monitor student performance and progress including financial aid, class schedules, orientation, and class participation.
  • Always ensure compliance of all Collegis and partner school policies
  • Adhere to the appropriate information security policies based on the sensitivity of company data and report any security related issues
  • Reduce risk of theft, fraud, or misuse of information assets by maintaining security and patch management for the services provided by the team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by team lead. 

Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule. 
  • At least two years of consultative sales, recruiting or customer service experience. Previous academic advising experience a plus. 
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit with desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability to connect with relevance to enrolled students representing multiple stages of life and diverse backgrounds/experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability exceeding expectations, influencing others, and meeting deadlines.
  • A passion and enthusiasm for education.

Education, Certifications and Licensures:


  • Bachelor’s degree required
