Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a dynamic leader with a passion for driving change. A Practice Manager to lead our Cloud & Workplace Solutions practice while fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation and excellence within the team. The Practice Manager will be responsible for managing a team of top-tier professionals and sub-contractor resources, overseeing the practice's P&L, capacity management, go-to-market plans, collaborating with the Sales Team, and driving allocations and hiring initiatives. What You'll Do
- Lead, inspire and develop a team of Modern Workplace and Azure professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
- Drive hiring initiatives, including identifying staffing needs, attracting top talent, conducting interviews, and onboarding new team members.
- Oversee the practice's P&L, budget, forecasted revenue targets, and track financial performance against goals, to meet profitability goals and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, and project staffing to meet client demands and optimizeutilization.
- Develop sales enablement strategies in line with organizational go-to-market for your practice.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, lead presales meetings on large opportunities, and contribute to proposal development.
- Drive resolution for issues and risks with active project execution, sales pipeline, capacity and forecast.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into the practice to maintain a competitive edge.
- Inspire your team of technologists to promote your practice through blogging and community engagement.
- Maintain a strong Microsoft presence through active participation in community speaking engagements, blog posting, Social Media presence and events.
What You'll Need
- Over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on M365 and Azure.
- Strong B2B communication skills and experience engaging external customers.
- Demonstrated track record of managing and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong business acumen and experience managing P&L.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
- Experience developing and executing go-to-market plans to drive business expansion.
- Proven experience cultivating strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives, challenges, and technology needs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong client relationships.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Modern Workplace and Azure technologies, tools, and best practices.
What Will Set You Apart
- Proven technicalexpertise in Microsoft Modern Workplace (M365, Intune, Teams, Copilot) and Azure technologies (Governance, Cost Management/FinOps, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform).
- Established network within Microsoft (field sellers, product teams) and other strategic alliances.
- Track record developing internal IP (playbooks, tools, accelerator frameworks) that drive repeatable success.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
