Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software QA Analyst to join our team in Amman, Jordan. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs, issues, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met
- Document and report software defects using bug tracking tools
- Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to the development team
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect reporting
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium and JUnit
- Familiarity with SQL and database concepts for testing data-driven applications
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA and TestRail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- ISTQB certification is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
