TDI is looking for a COMSEC Auditor, located in Japan, shall have experience and knowledge necessary to manage the day-to-day operation and handling of a Navy COMSEC equipment to include compliance supporting COMSEC upgrading and testing. The COMSEC key personnel shall have experience in the design, deployment, upgrading and operation of COMSEC devices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be familiar CMS-1/CMS-3 series manuals and COMSEC Spot Checks.
- Interact and coordinate with NSA, NCMS, CMIO, CRF’s, Controlling Authorities, and Local Elements.
- Provide COMSEC administrative support including material inventory, destruction reports, order placements, and tracking.
- Perform equipment maintenance, upgrade, troubleshoot, issue and operate instruction for COMSEC hardware (e.g. STEs, KSV-21, SKLs, KG-175s, VACM, KG-250s, IRIDIUMs, iApps and KIV-7s).
- Conduct site visits and travel to perform training, equipment maintenance/upgrades, and re-supply of necessary COMSEC related material or items.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operation Processes (SOPs) and COMSEC specific training guide
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Top secret clearance with US citizenship
- Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in COMSEC management and operations.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in US Navy or Military Sealift Command Afloat Operations.
- Minimum four (4) years’ experience in equipment design, deployment, troubleshooting, upgrading and operation of COMSEC devices and accounting mechanisms.
- Possess one of the following from the CSWF Designation code 723 Intermediate/Journeyman:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited University or CNSSI 4012-Senior Systems Manager
- Military training: CIN A-4C-1340 Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Operating Account Manager or CIN W-3B-1500 EKMS Manager
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+
