This role plays a key strategic and leadership role, leading the Events Department by coaching, guiding, and performance managing those teams and their respective leaders. This role reports directly to the Sr. Events & Retail Manager and collaborates closely with them to plan and execute lead generation through the department, depending on market trends.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Analyze local communities to identify business opportunities and implement programs to maximize sales potential.
- Consistently grow the customer base within the market area, ensuring events and retail opportunities are professionally organized and executed to drive leads and sales.
- Plan and execute strategies and partnerships for third party and internally hosted events.
- Build and nurture relationships with event organizers and promoters to establish strong partnerships.
- Secure prime booth spaces to showcase premium door and window products.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including location selection, scheduling, and execution.
- Engage directly with customers at events to generate and qualify leads.
- Manage the sales process, ensuring seamless communication and tracking sales activities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering positive client relationships.
- Achieve and surpass sales goals to contribute to the company's growth objectives.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of event and promotional marketers using a hands-on leadership style.
- Motivate and coach team members to achieve individual and collective performance targets.
- Establish and lead a support structure within the department, including managing supervisors, team leads, and other leadership roles.
- Cultivate a positive, high-performing team culture by modeling professional behaviors and techniques.
- Act as the key liaison between the sales department and other operational units to ensure alignment.
- Work collaboratively with design consultants to schedule and optimize marketing strategies.
- Perform any other related, unrelated, unassigned, unspecified, out of the ordinary or special duties that may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of proven sales experience.
- 5+ years of supervisory and leadership experience.
- 5+ years of customer service experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to stay organized in a dynamic setting.
- Strong coaching and training expertise, with the capability to mentor leaders and Event and Retail Marketers effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of marketing communications and sales promotion strategies.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, positive, and driven, with a strong work ethic.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Reliable transportation.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License with an insurable driving record per company standards.
