What You'll Do:
As our Quality Assurance Supervisor, you'll be the architect of our quality standards, from raw materials to finished products. You'll play a crucial role in:
- Building a Gold Standard: Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards, testing procedures, and best practices to ensure product consistency and safety.
- Protecting Our Brand & Our Consumers: Implement effective quality management across all processes, equipment, and facilities, safeguarding health, safety, and our reputation.
- Leading with Vision: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, train your team, and act as a key liaison for expansion into new facilities.
- Bringing Products to Life: Oversee the entire quality control structure, ensuring successful product launches, including all necessary testing and planning.
- Navigating Regulations: Ensure strict compliance with DCC and DCR standards, with an eye towards GMP certification and future FDA compliance.
- Optimizing Operations: Develop and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS), refine product testing processes, and implement robust sanitation and quality control measures.
- Ensuring Excellence: Oversee quality assurance for all intake and production, verify third-party compliance, and lead investigations into any product issues.
- Driving Continuous Improvement: Identify Critical Control Points (CCP), support our HACCP program, establish allergen prevention, and track key quality, CSR, and safety metrics.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (Food/Beverage, Pharmaceutical, or similar).
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Pharmacology, or a related field (preferred).
- Formulation knowledge and experience are a definite plus.
- A strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality management systems.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of training and developing teams.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the highest quality standards.
