Trueline is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team in the greater Jacksonville, FL area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional who excels at cost estimating, quantity take-offs, and budget development for a range of commercial and industrial projects. What You’ll Do as the Senior Estimator:


  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and retail construction projects
  • Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to clarify scope and ensure alignment on pricing
  • Analyze project documents, timelines, and labor/material requirements to support budget planning
  • Leverage estimating software and tools to streamline workflows and improve accuracy
  • Stay informed on current market conditions, pricing trends, and subcontractor availability

Must-Haves as the Senior Estimator:


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction estimating
  • Proven ability to perform detailed quality take-offs
  • Strong grasp of cost management, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on-site in the Jacksonville metro area

Nice-To-Haves as the Senior Estimator:


  • Experience in commercial, industrial, or retail construction sectors
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with local subcontractor networks and permitting processes
  • Established book of business
