Our Build & Repair Shop plays a critical role in preparing client systems for deployment, and we’re looking for two summer interns to join the team and gain hands-on experience in a real-world IT environment.
Position Summary:
We’re seeking two motivated Summer Interns to assist our Build & Repair team with imaging and configuring several hundred Windows-based laptops and desktops for deployment. This is an ideal opportunity for college students or recent high school graduates interested in launching a career in information technology.
What You'll Do:
- Image and configure Windows laptops and desktop computers using
- standardized tools
- Set up hardware components, including monitors, peripherals, and
- basic cable management
- Apply client-specific configurations and perform quality assurance
- checks
- Troubleshoot minor hardware and software issues under supervision
- Assist with inventory management, asset tagging, and documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support the broader IT team as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Interest in technology, IT, or computer hardware
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to ~30 lbs
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
- Available to work full-time (Monday to Friday) throughout the summer
Preferred But Not Required:
- Experience with imaging or deploying computers
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an IT, Computer Science, or related program
