Applied Research Solutions (ARS) is looking for a full-time payroll administrator. This position is located at the ARS home office in Beavercreek, OH.

  • Processes and analyzes payroll, general ledger accounts entry, creates on-going month-end, quarterly, and year-end organization reports, and performs other related duties as assigned
  • Audits payroll information for accuracy
  • Conduct tax withholdings, wage garnishments, and voluntary deductions
  • Sets up company accounts in new states of employment
  • Maintains knowledge of rules and laws which govern the payroll administration practices
  • Ensures timely Quarterly tax filings through payroll system.
  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
  • Assists with internal and external audits of wage and hour, labor and benefits information.
  • Reviews and processes payroll adjustments
  • Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal, state and local wage and hour laws, and corporate policy.
  • Fields and responds to payroll inquiries and resolves discrepancies as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years’ experience in payroll
  • Manage multiple, on-going, and high priority assignments at the same time
  • Experience working payroll in numerous states and jurisdictions across the United States
  • Experience processing payroll in UltiPro/UKG Pro (desired)
  • Work well in MS Office (especially: Excel, Office 365 and SharePoint)
  • Experience with Deltek (desired)
