Tevpro is seeking a
React Engineer* to join our growing engineering team in Houston, TX. As a Tevpro React Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the World’s Most Recognized Brands and be at the forefront of driving a major transformation.*In this role, you will architect, build, and maintain complex web applications using React and modern JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement clean, efficient, and reusable React components.
- Translate UI/UX designs into functional, responsive web interfaces.
- Optimize performance for web applications across a wide range of devices and browsers.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs.
- Write unit and integration tests using tools like Jest, Testing Library, or Playwright.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards across the team.
Requirements:
- Work in person one (1) day a week at our Houston offices (1000 N Post Oak Road, Houston, TX 77055).
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React, Hooks, and modern state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup) and bundling strategies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Git-based version control.
- Proven experience building responsive and accessible (WCAG-compliant) interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js) or static site generators.
- Familiarity with component libraries like Storybook, Shadcn, etc.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Vitest, or Playwright.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker).

Location:
Houston, TX. The candidate must be able to come into our offices one day per week to whiteboard and collaborate on client projects.
