Fresh off our Series A, this rapidly growing company is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our scaling, fast-paced team. This role will work closely with our VP of Marketing and Account Executives on our core prospecting activities. Our 18 - 24 month program is centered around lead generation and talent development.

From their first day, our SDRs are trained weekly on core sales skills that help them drive impact through lead generation and qualification during and after the SDR role. Successful graduates from our SDR program progress into more advanced sales roles which provides increased earning potential, and our promote-from-within culture propels our most committed and innovative SDRs into leadership roles within sales and business development. Our team is invested in talent who is committed to growing, learning, and performing in this role and beyond. Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who has grit and a great work ethic, is passionate, and full of intellectual curiosity.

Overall your responsibility is to generate new business sales leads through a mixture of cold calling, following up marketing campaigns, and following up on inbound inquiries

*This is a hybrid in-office role at our Austin, TX HQ office*


Specifically, these are some examples of your day to day activities:

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel company's growth
  • Make outbound phone calls and outbound emails each day
  • Manage your named accounts, own your territory, and help maintain data integrity in Salesforce.com
  • Support marketing efforts by assisting in demand generation campaigns
  • Achieve, or exceed, weekly and monthly metrics including sales activities, meetings set, qualified leads, and new contacts prospected
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) preferred
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations

A reasonable estimate of the on track earnings range for this position is $45,000 - $70,000 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.SchooLinks is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
