This hybrid role offers the opportunity to contribute to our mission of enabling real-time voice communication for frontline teams across industries. As a Billing Specialist, you will ensure billing accuracy, support customer inquiries, and help maintain seamless financial operations.

After a successful first year, you will


  • Have taken full ownership of our billing and invoicing processes, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Be the primary contact for billing-related customer support, resolving inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Have implemented improvements to streamline billing workflows and reduce manual touch-points.
  • Collaborated cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, and Finance to support renewals, reporting, and collections.
  • Developed documentation for billing policies and procedures to support team scalability and training.

What you'll do 


  • Manage Hubspot billing requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain accurate customer subscription records in the billing and CRM platforms.
  • Process subscription changes (upgrades, downgrades, cancellations) and apply pro-rations as needed.
  • Maintain internal documentation for billing policies and procedures.
  • Accurately and promptly generate and distribute custom customer invoices.
  • Manage customer billing inquiries and work with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Reconcile billing data with internal records and assist with month-end close.
  • Support revenue reporting and audit preparation.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and financial system upgrades.
  • Generate ad-hoc and scheduled reports for finance, management, and stakeholders.

Who you are


  • You have 2+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience, ideally in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, and take pride in getting things right the first time.
  • You have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • You are comfortable working with financial systems Zuora, Hubspot, or similar ERP & CRM systems
  • You are collaborative, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are based in Austin or open to relocating for a hybrid role.
