Senior HR Business Partner for the Canada Studio, you’ll play a key role in shaping an inclusive, high-performing, and purpose-driven culture. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll partner closely with studio leaders and team members to bring our people strategy to life—supporting growth, engagement, and a thriving workplace. You’ll be a trusted advisor, a culture champion, and a proactive problem solver who helps our teams do their best work while feeling valued, supported, and inspired.
Strategic People Partnership
- Collaborate with the Canadian Studio leadership team to align people strategies with business goals.
- Provide insight and guidance on organizational design, team effectiveness, and change management.
- Act as a thought partner to leaders, helping them build strong, resilient, and inclusive teams.
Talent & Growth
- Support workforce planning and partner with Talent Acquisition to attract top talent.
- Lead a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for new team members.
- Champion early career programs and diversity hiring initiatives that reflect our values.
Culture & Employee Experience
- Be a go-to resource for employee relations, ensuring fairness, empathy, and consistency.
- Foster a culture of trust, inclusion, and belonging across the studio.
- Lead proactive initiatives to strengthen engagement and mitigate workplace challenges.
Performance & Development
- Guide the performance and development cycle, from goal setting to growth planning.
- Coach managers to lead with empathy, clarity, and accountability.
- Support succession planning and leadership development to build a strong future pipeline.
Compensation & Recognition
- Partner with the CPO and Finance to ensure equitable and competitive compensation practices.
- Provide insights on benchmarking, leveling, and internal equity.
- Promote meaningful recognition programs that celebrate contributions and reinforce our values.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Canadian employment laws and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate employee data and support HRIS processes.
- Lead studio-specific policy development and continuous process improvement.
Studio Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with cross-functional HR and Shared Services teams to deliver seamless support.
- Represent the Canada Studio in global HR initiatives and program design.
- Drive local engagement, onboarding, and offboarding experiences that reflect our culture.
What You Bring
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic business partnership.
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and scale people programs that support engagement, development, and culture.
- Deep understanding of Canadian employment law and HR best practices.
- A track record of building trust and influencing senior leaders.
- Experience in a creative or professional services environment is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
