Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
What we are looking forWe are seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis in Berwyn, PA. - Serve as an important provider of financial analytics to the VP of FP&A and other senior leaders.
- Adding commentary and insights, overseeing the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis to assist various departments in making financial decisions.
- Creating packages of data for monthly strategic meetings for every line of service.
- Keeping financial reporting models for budgeting and reforecasting up to date and making more efficient.
- Providing variance research prior to month-end close, including adding insights.
- Identify and implement improvements to the FP&A processes for efficiency.
- Assist with the annual budgeting process and oversee forecasting procedures.
- Collaborating, building relationships, and contributing to a positive work culture.
- Other duties as assigned, also being flexible and adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment.
Necessary Skills, Education & Abilities
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analyst, or related roles.
- 2+ years in a leadership position.
- The ability to utilize your strong strategic and analytical skills along with working knowledge of forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Experience with leading and managing complex budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Familiarity with financial management tools, also data analysis and manipulations tools such as Alteryx or SQL strongly preferred.
- The ability to manage financial reporting and analysis, having focused on providing strategic guidance and insights to leadership.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge in the healthcare, pharmacy benefits management, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not required.
- Relentless attention to detail, great organizational skills, and enjoys multitasking
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to de-escalate issues and find solutions quickly and effectively.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities, flexible and adaptive to changing processes and procedures.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Utilization of CRM tools is a benefit.
