What we are looking forWe are seeking a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis in Berwyn, PA. This pivotal role, reporting to the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis, will support all departments to provide key analytics to drive the day-to-day operations.If you are motivated, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to grow in your career, this might be the opportunity for you!What the position will be doing

  • Serve as an important provider of financial analytics to the VP of FP&A and other senior leaders.
  • Adding commentary and insights, overseeing the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis to assist various departments in making financial decisions.
  • Creating packages of data for monthly strategic meetings for every line of service.
  • Keeping financial reporting models for budgeting and reforecasting up to date and making more efficient.
  • Providing variance research prior to month-end close, including adding insights.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the FP&A processes for efficiency.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process and oversee forecasting procedures.
  • Collaborating, building relationships, and contributing to a positive work culture.
  • Other duties as assigned, also being flexible and adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment.

Necessary Skills, Education & Abilities

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analyst, or related roles.
  • 2+ years in a leadership position.
  • The ability to utilize your strong strategic and analytical skills along with working knowledge of forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Experience with leading and managing complex budgeting and forecasting processes.​
  • Familiarity with financial management tools, also data analysis and manipulations tools such as Alteryx or SQL strongly preferred.
  • The ability to manage financial reporting and analysis, having focused on providing strategic guidance and insights to leadership.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge in the healthcare, pharmacy benefits management, or pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not required.
  • Relentless attention to detail, great organizational skills, and enjoys multitasking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting effectively.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to de-escalate issues and find solutions quickly and effectively.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities, flexible and adaptive to changing processes and procedures.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Utilization of CRM tools is a benefit.
