It’sthe curiosity, dedication, and innovation that drive our success and help us anticipate the future. As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work with product teams to deploy and validate the quality and scalability of web applications, user interfaces, printer drivers, and APIs for cloud and on-premises solutions.

You will benchmark current systems, design and execute end-to-end tests, analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and then optimize the test suite to achieve maximum performance and quality. You will collaborate closely with your partners in software development to define and execute the test strategies and tactics, including maximizing test automation.

Responsibilities:


  • End-to-end automated deployment, setup and system testing of our solutions encompassing many of our software and hardware products.  This role will cross product boundaries and focus on solutions for Entrust markets.
  • Testing of Entrust cloud applications located in AWS.
  • Setup of different environments including cloud, mobile and on-premises to verify our solutions in supported scenarios.  Including differing LDAP, database and network environments.
  • Execute product testing focusing on end-to-end, performance and load testing. (manual and automated)
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for the Windows certified and Linux printer drivers to drive Entrust card printers
  • Automate as many tests as possible via API or other methods
  • End-to-end automated deployment, setup and system testing of our solutions encompassing many of our software and hardware products
  • Create and provide metrics on test cycle times and suggest improvements to speed up cycle time
  • Daily collaboration with the project teams, including project management, technical leads, technical writers and developers
  • Interest in future leadership roles

Basic Qualifications:


  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Test/Quality Assurance, IT Infrastructure or Support
  • Windows and Linux experience
  • Test case automation
  • Programming experience in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Powershell or similar
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and an understanding of test role/responsibility under Agile development environment
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization for US

Preferred Qualifications:


  • BS/BA in Computer Science or engineering equivalent
  • Windows and Linux printing/printer driver testing experience
  • Experience with client software and web application testing. 
  • 1+ years of experience developing automated tests including with automation frameworks such as RestAssured, Appium, Selenium, and/or Playwright.
  • Experience with Java and/or C#
  • Printed image and color output knowledge
  • VMWare and/or AWS experience and best practice knowledge
  • GIT/Bitbucket experience for source code control
  • Experience with Jira for user story coordination, test case repository (Zephyr Essential), build integration and issue tracking.

Your future short-term and major projects:


  • Help the development team expand the data collection and AI capabilities of our Issuance Device Management cloud solution.
  • Make impactful contributions, including hardware integrations, to our device integration services which are bundled with several of our Issuance solutions.  
  • Identify opportunities to drive innovation, accelerate product launches, and remove bottlenecks to deliver results faster.

Where you will be:  This role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in-office at our HQ offices in Shakopee, MN as specified in the job description. At Entrust, we have a distributed workforce.

Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
