Point of Sale (POS) Deployment Technician / Warehouse Associate

About the Job:


The POS Deployment Technician is part of our Customer Experience team and will help coordinate our customer’s point-of-sale hardware needs. Because we operate in the space of live events, we have to ensure our hardware works at time of shipment and is properly packaged and documented to minimize delivery delays. Our customers depend on us to help them sell millions of dollars of merch, food and beverages in short bursts of time. We’ve got to get it right.

You Will Get To:


Hardware Testing/Basic Maintenance

  • Work with our Mobile Device Management software (JAMF) to assign and manage devices (iPads).
  • Keep iPads up to date with the latest software, charged, and clean.
  • Troubleshoot issues with iPads (example: Apps not installing or device not checking into JAMF).
  • Maintain and assemble point-of-sale kits including assembly of stands, stickering card readers, updating EMV/M2 firmware, setting padlock codes, configuring new iPads.

Shipping & Receiving:

  • Assist in generating UPS, FedEx, or freight shipments inclusive of packing slips.
  • Check returned inventory for damages or missing items and log issues.
  • Assist in all outbound and inbound shipments of point-of-sale kits.
  • Work within our project management software (ASANA) for schedule of hardware shipments and requirements.
  • Drop off packages to Post Office, FedEx, and UPS as needed.
  • Assist in fulfillment of online orders as required.
  • Keep warehouse orderly and clean at all times.

Should Have:


  • High proficiency with Apple products including MacBooks and iPads; technically savvy and can handle basic troubleshooting independently.
  • Ability to be detail oriented and organized: we work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, we have to know what is going on at all times.
  • Ability to adhere to process with emphasis on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to be an excellent communicator, written and verbal.
  • Professional attitude with an enthusiastic, positive nature.
  • A “no job too big or small” attitude, and willing to help team members as needed.

Physical Requirements:


  • Able to move 120lb cases on wheels
  • Able to lift 40lb overhead
  • Able to climb and use warehouse steps

  • $22 - $25/hour ($45K to $52K/year) plus an annual bonus (dependent on company and individual performance).
