Association of Tissue Banks (AATB).How You Contribute to Pinnacle Transplant’s SuccessThe Inspection Technician is responsible for inspecting work-in-process and final products through all stages of receiving, manufacturing, shipping, irradiation, and distribution of human tissue allografts for use by surgeons in implantation procedures.Regular Work hours: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pmTraining hours: Must be able to train for 2 weeks Monday - Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pmWork environment: Manufacturing Cleanroom with interaction within Manufacturing as well as computer workstationLocation: North Phoenix, near 19th Avenue and Pinnacle Peak RoadPay Rate: $20.00/hour + 11% Shift Differential ($22.20/hour)What You Will Do
- Support / maintain 5S practices and standards.
- Teamwork, collaboration, and respectful interactions.
- Stay current on all company required training.
- Comply with all applicable OSHA, ISO 13485, FDA, cGMP, cGTP, HIPAA, AATB, Universal Precautions, and PTT Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
- Guided performance of pre-IRR allograft inspections in the cleanroom environment.
- Guided performance of Shop Floor Quality Control (SFQC) batch record inspections.
- Guided performance of documenting all non-compliances compliant with PTT QMS in a timely manner.
- Competence in some system transactions and knowledge in QAD, ERP and System information.
- Accuracy in appropriate documentation for inspection.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Qualifications You Will Bring
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
Who You Will Partner With
- Your Area Manager/Shift Lead. You will have daily verbal and written communication with your Area Manager/Shift Lead, and/or production support leadership to ensure daily production goals are understood and executed with speed and quality.
- Your Team. Regularly work in independent and team settings, maintaining professional communication with all PTT associates.
Where You Will Work
- Full Time position (36/40 hours or more) based in North Phoenix. Hours may include evenings and weekends to perform tasks outlined in the job description.
- Duties are such that there will be contact with human tissue and bone which may be considered infectious; use of PPE is required in all work areas.
- Position works in a clean room environment where protective clothing such as hoods, face masks, gloves, boots, and coveralls are required.
- Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. May occasionally lift or move items over 15+ pounds.
