About the role
We are looking for an Account Executive to join our early sales team. As an Account Executive, you will work directly with the members of our early GTM team to build pipeline and manage full cycle deals.As an Account Executive at Flipturn, you will:
- Own customer sales cycle with mid-market and enterprise customers
- Develop pipeline through strategic outbound to target accounts and cultivating relationships with Flipturn’s channel partners, who send significant deal flow to our sales team
- Work collaboratively with product and operations to share customer feedback
- Contribute to sales playbook development and process improvement as a member of the early AE team
About you
We’re looking for someone who is excited about joining a small but quickly moving climate tech startup in the EV charging space.You’ll be a great fit for this role if you enjoy:

- Representing a company in an externally-facing role that involves cultivating relationships with industry partners
- Contributing to building out the sales team and weighing in on process improvements, outbound tactics, conference strategies, and more
A strong candidate will have the following experience/skills:
- At least 3 years in a mid-market or enterprise quota-carrying sales role
- Experience with outbound sales and lead generation (using Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and other key tools)
- Full cycle deal experience: can prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close deals
- Ability to operate with autonomy as one of our first sales hires
- Excellent communication skills, including both written and oral communication
- Ability to understand and articulate complex, semi-technical topics in a clear, simple, and concise way to stakeholders
- Familiarity with the EV charging industry is a bonus
- Experience at early stage startups is a bonus
