Vice President (Temporary 3-month Leave Cover - Contract)
We are looking to bring on a contractor for approximately 20 hours per week starting in mid-June and ending in September. We are open to all locations, however, anyone located within our office regions is welcome to operate from our office spaces.

About the role…
This temporary contractor role will operate at a Vice President level within the business, running
several account teams at once and taking responsibility for client and internal team satisfaction. You may also partner with other senior leaders on specific accounts or projects. While a few internal meetings may be required each week, the main focus will be on client relations and account management. You will drive strategy and programs, own relationships, attend internal and client meetings, pitch ideas, scope new projects, provide counsel and troubleshoot when things don’t go to plan.
Responsibilities:
- Own client relationships and manage several accounts spanning various B2B technology sectors (such as Emerging Tech, FinTech, Industrial Tech, Enterprise Tech, Marketing & e-Commerce)
- Deliver outstanding strategic counsel to clients as a business consultant, able to identify pain points and build strategy and plans to solve them
- Drive teams to deliver meaningful outcomes
- Demonstrate account and organizational leadership that sets the standard for your teams
- Own client strategy to meet and exceed client business goals and objectives
- Participate in new business opportunities
- Coach and develop team members across the organization
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients across the US and around the world
- Execute strong written and presentation communication skills, with the comfort to present ideas and make a case to clients and global partners
You’ll Bring:
- 10 + years of experience in agency communications with progressively increasing responsibility
- Expertise in corporate and financial communications
- Varied sector experience developing audience-first, omnichannel (PESO) solutions inclusive of strategy, campaign and channel-level recommendations
- A deep interest and existing network in the B2B technology industry
- Experience running communications for large-scale technology B2B and B2C brands
- Entrepreneurial mind set and a desire for continuous learning
- Experience managing remote teams (preferred)
Compensation
: Between $120 – 160 per hour, dependent upon experience.
