Title: Customer Onboarding Specialist 


About this Job


As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you’ll lead customers through the onboarding process and provide clear, hands-on demonstrations of Energy CX’s customer portal.You’ll work closely with the Customer Success and Support teams to ensure each customer is properly set up, their utility data is accurate and current, and any portal-related issues are quickly addressed.We’re looking for a highly organized, communicative professional who can take full ownership of the portal onboarding experience.

This is a customer-facing, cross-functional role that requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and close coordination with internal tech teams—no technical background required.

Objectives of this Role


  • Lead and optimize the customer onboarding experience.
  • Ensure seamless coordination across teams to support customer setup and data integrity.
  • Drive customer engagement and satisfaction through effective portal support and communication.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities


  • Onboard customers to Energy CX’s baseline portal, including sending login instructions and running demo walkthroughs
  • Coordinate with customers to obtain utility and supplier credentials for portal integration
  • Serve as the primary contact for all customer questions related to portal usage
  • Communicate with customers via email, phone, and video calls
  • Host onboarding meetings to guide clients through portal features and address their questions
  • Ongoing engagement with customers to ensure portal information remains accurate and up to date

Skills & Qualifications


  • Exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and detail-oriented problem-solver
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in SaaS or the energy industry

  • 12/24 - 1/2 Company break (Subject to be longer, but at minimum, all employees can expect this time off)
