ABOUT THE ROLE:
As our Senior Social Media Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing both the agency's internal social media strategy and the social media strategies for our diverse portfolio of clients. You will oversee content creation, campaign management, and the development of data-driven strategies that drive engagement, growth, and brand awareness across multiple social platforms. Your innovative mindset will empower you to capitalize on emerging trends, effectively manage social media budgets, and optimize campaign performance.
You will manage and mentor team members in the creation of healthy and successful social media strategies, content plans, and reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate is:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Leadership - Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals, enhancing brand awareness and engagement.
- Content Creation - Oversee the creation of compelling, high-quality content that resonates with the target audience, fostering community engagement and brand loyalty.
- Team Management - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of social media professionals, encouraging creativity and collaboration to achieve team and organizational goals.
- Analytics and Reporting - Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
- Trend Analysis - Stay current with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure our social media strategy remains innovative and effective.
- Collaboration - Work closely with our internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or a related field, with 1 - 3 years of experience managing teams of social media managers, content creators, and digital marketers.
- A strategic, forward-thinking leader who motivates teams, fosters innovation and creativity, and stays on the pulse of industry trends, emerging platforms, and client needs.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing multi-platform social media strategies (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok), with a track record of growing brand presence and engagement through both organic and paid efforts. Brings a deep understanding of paid media, budgeting, and analytics, and the ability to translate performance data into clear insights and optimization opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of SEO and SEM, with the ability to create scalable, integrated strategies that align with content planning and audience engagement goals.
- The ability to navigate both the creative and analytical sides of social media - crafting compelling narratives while also optimizing for performance.
- A clear and persuasive communicator, skilled at presenting strategies, insights, and recommendations to both internal teams and external clients.
