Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled NGWP - Portfolio Management Specialist to support our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing engineering projects or federal government programs, with a focus on portfolio management, financial analysis, and stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with program leadership to design, develop, and implement strategic initiatives that align with NGWP objectives and federal priorities, ensuring alignment with organizational mission and goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance by tracking key metrics, analyzing data trends, and preparing detailed reports to inform decision-making and ensure program success.
  • Perform comprehensive financial and budgetary analyses for individual projects and the overall program, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring fiscal accountability.
  • Provide project management support to leaders by overseeing project timelines, monitoring progress, and implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
  • Review and assess project proposals to ensure they meet program objectives, comply with scope requirements, and contribute to the overall mission of the NGWP.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust systems for collecting, organizing, and analyzing project and program data to support informed decision-making and reporting.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the FBI and other government agencies, facilitating effective communication, coordinating interagency efforts, and ensuring alignment on shared objectives.
  • Represent the organization in interagency meetings, presenting updates, addressing concerns, and preparing comprehensive summary reports to share insights and outcomes.
  • Support the achievement of NGWP goals by tracking progress, documenting accomplishments, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct in-depth research on emerging commercial wireless technologies, preparing detailed reports and recommendations to inform program strategies and technological advancements.

Qualifications:Education:

  • PMP or FAC-P/PM certification is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years managing engineering projects or federal government programs.
  • Proven experience in:
  • Developing and implementing program strategies.
  • Tracking and reporting on program performance.
  • Project management, including oversight of planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and Access.
  • Experience managing projects/programs within the commercial wireless technology area is preferred.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Excel and Access.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in data collection and reporting systems.
